To commemorate the fortieth day of the passing of Sattar Beheshti, an Iranian blogger who was tortured to death in Iran on October 3rd, 2012, the Iranian-American Community of North Texas held a ceremony in Downtown Dallas. In addition to Sattar’s ceremony, people protested the continued violation of human rights in Iran and demanded that all political prisoners be freed.
