Iranian American Community of North Texas Rallies Against Executions in Iran

Dallas, TX — April 26, 2025
The Iranian American Community of North Texas (IACNT), supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, held a rally at JFK Plaza in downtown Dallas to condemn the alarming rise in executions in Iran. The demonstration drew local supporters, human rights advocates, and members of the Iranian American community to stand in solidarity with political prisoners and call for international accountability.

The rally highlighted the cases of political prisoners such as Behrouz Ehsani, a 70-year-old father tortured and sentenced to death for supporting the MEK, and Mehdi Hassani, a 48-year-old protester arrested during the 2022 uprising and now facing imminent execution. Their names, along with others on death row, were publicly read aloud as a reminder of the regime’s brutality.

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Thousands of Iranian-Americans held a protest outside of the United Nations demanding justice for victims of Iran's regime.

The demonstration stretched an entire avenue.

Protesters filled the entire block on 47th Street.

They have covered the plaza with the faces of those they say have fallen for freedom.

Paris conference on accountability for notorious 1988 Iran prison massacre highlights challenges to human rights in Iran

On August 24, Paris was the venue for an international conference sponsored by Justice for the Victims of the 1988 Massacre in Iran (JVMI), dedicated to confronting one of the darkest episodes in Iran’s history: the 1988 Massacre. The event, titled “Accountability for Atrocity Crimes,” drew legal luminaries, human rights advocates, survivors, and observers from around the world, all unified in their demand for justice and accountability for the atrocities committed by the Iranian regime 36 years ago.
